This year I will again be competing in City 2 Surf but this one will be a little bit more special than my previous runs.
Good friends of mine have had their youngest son Liam diagnosed with Muscular dystrophy so this year I will be running for Liam and every other family who are going through this.
As a new parent myself, I cannot imagine what these family go through.
Every donation big or small will be greatly appreciated.

I am Fundraising for Muscular Dystrophy

Hey there!

Muscular Dystrophy is a neuromuscular, genetic disorder which results in the progressive deterioration of muscle strength and function. Muscular Dystrophy is the name of one of many different neuromuscular conditions.

Neuromuscular conditions can affect people at different stages of their lives and onset of symptoms can occur from birth to adulthood, depending on the condition. The rate of progression and pattern of inheritance also varies depending on the condition and the individual.

Neuromuscular conditions are relatively rare, affecting approximately 1 in 1000 People and 24,600 people Australia wide.

Please help me crush my fundraising goal by making a secure tax deductable online donation and by doing a shout out on social media to encourage others to donate and help me through.

Together we can support people living with Muscular Dystrophy to live the life they choose!
