George & I are on a mission as a Community Hero to fundraise for Muscular Dystrophy NSW, an organisation that has supported our family greatly since George's diagnosis with Nemaline Myopathy at about 4 months of age. You can be a hero too, by donating to our fundraising page!

Help us accomplish our mission of reaching our fundraising goal, and make a tax deductable donation today! 

You can support the heroic work that Muscular Dystrophy NSW do, to support people who live with Neuromuscular Conditions live the life they choose. The more people who know about our fundraiser, the easier it will be for us to accomplish our mission. It would mean the world to me if you could share our fundraiser on social media to encourage others to donate and support.

Did you know that 40,000 people in Australia live with Muscular Dystrophy. Muscular Dystrophy is a neuromuscular, genetic disorder which results in the progressive deterioration of muscle strength and function. 

Neuromuscular conditions can affect people at different stages of their lives and onset of symptoms can occur from birth to adulthood, depending on the condition.

The rate of progression and pattern of inheritance also varies depending on the condition and the individual.
