The event kicks off at 3:40pm, and after that, you’re free to create your own celebration. We encourage everyone to start at this time so we can virtually unite and celebrate together (and don’t forget to share on your socials!).
Be creative—take plenty of photos, post online, host a BBQ, enjoy an afternoon tea, grab a special takeaway, play games, sing, chat, and more. Let’s all share in the fun and celebrate the day together while we roll and stroll at the same time!
Location
Virtually from anywhere! You can walk, run, roll, or stroll around your local area, whether it be a park, street or beach! Or go for a new location we’ve carefully selected for you!
What to wear
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes for a day outside and remember to be sunsafe!
We encourage you to have fun by wearing red or a fancy dress.

Hit the treadmill, do some laps around the track or create your own obstacle course!
If it's wet outside you can still dedicate your fitness efforts to the MD community.
Get your team together or link up virtually for 3km, 5km or 10km on the treadmill, for a shared dance power hour, for some laps walking, running, or driving your powerchair on a covered track/indoor court or, create an obstacle course with different levels of difficulty. You, your friends, and family will love to design the obstacle course with the objects you have at home – street chalk, skipping ropes, milk crates, old pillows, mats, and anything you can walk, run or drive with your powerchair around in a safe and fun indoor space such as community halls, sport’s court, venue.
This is our day to celebrate our community so think outside the box and make it fun!

SMArties and Friends
SMArties and Friends had 17 members in their team and they were the top team in the last year's virtual event. Around 60 people gather together at Parramatta Park for a fun day of walking, running, rolling or strolling the 3km loop at Parramatta Park. They've organised a beautiful event full of yummy food, activities and games. Gathering together is important, so having your own mini Roll + Stroll with your team when it suits you is a great way to celebrate.
