Big Red Roll + Stroll 2025

2 weeks to go until the Big Red Roll and Stroll

In two weeks time, we will be Rolling and Strolling for Muscular Dystrophy :)
The team at Muscular Dystrophy NSW are an amazing bunch of people who are so supportive. They have taken the time to get to know our family (as they do to all the families involved). I have seen the amazing things they have done to support other members of the community (helping other members get their Duke of Edinburgh Awards, camps for teens and retreats for adults and not just for the people with MD but also for their families).

I love this event and can't wait to be part of the 2025 Big Red Roll and Stroll :)

2 months to go

Only 2 months to go before Charlotte’s Rollers take on the Big Red Roll and Stroll. 

I love the NSW Muscular Dystrophy community- made up of people with a muscular dystrophy, medical professionals, allied health, volunteers and those just passionate about the cause. 

Approximately 1 in 500 people have a neuromuscular condition. That’s approximately 13000 people in NSW alone! And about 41% of those in NSW are aged between 6 and 25 years. 

Charlotte is more than a statistic. She is a bright, funny, strong and independent girl who does not let her condition stop her. Charlotte has many things that she is unable to do on her own, but she makes such an impact on those who meet her with her vast vocabulary and how she continues to kick goals and do things in her own ways. 

I would love more than anything to find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy, more specifically Charlotte’s exact type (as there are over 30 different types of muscular dystrophies affecting people in different ways and at different stages of life).

I'm fundraising for The Big Red Roll & Stroll

Once again I am taking part in the Big Red Roll and Stroll to raise much needed funds for research for people living with Muscular Dystrophy; Charlotte being one of them. A strong independent girl who I’m very proud of. 

I'm fundraising for the Big Red Roll & Stroll and Muscular Dystrophy NSW to help raise vital funds and awareness to empower, connect and support people living with a neuromuscular condition.
This year, your donations will go towards giving young people living with a neuromuscular condition. Your support will help provide a fun and meaningful experience at MDNSW's camps and retreats where they can enjoy activities, build connections, and create lasting memories.
Funds raised will help provide a space for growth, laughter, and a sense of belonging.
Muscular Dystrophy is a neuromuscular, genetic disorder which results in the progressive deterioration of muscle strength and function.
There are approximately 40,000 Australians living with a neuromuscular condition and 13,000 people in NSW.
